Ramla Bay
One of Gozo’s most beautiful and peaceful beaches, the golden sands of Ramla Bay were the location for one of the most dramatic moments in the BBC’s biographical drama Byron, for a scene showing the flaming funeral pyre of the poet Shelley. The beach is Gozo's largest and features three restaurants close to the waters edge, full toilet/shower facilities and lounger/umbrella hire. Rental rates are for up to six people. Please note: for more than six people there is a supplement of £90 per extra person per week.
