Gozo boasts three main ports: Xlendi, Marsalforn and Mgarr. Both Xlendi and Marsalforn are only used for small pleasure boats and are excellent night spots for eating out. They are also home to the island's only night clubs, one of which has been converted from a 16th century castle. Marsalforn is a stretch of beach lined with small bars and restaurants and has good facilities for watersports. It is only a small drive away from the island's salt pans, which are a great spot for bbq's and watching evening sunsets.
